Join Our Team – Senior Planner Vacancy
We are currently looking for a Senior level planner to join our team in Swindon.
Due to our expanding workload, we have an exciting vacancy for a new team member to join our small, experienced and friendly team. We work on a broad range of planning projects, delivering different types and scales of development with a varied case load. We provide consultancy services to a range of clients including the public and private sectors, landowners, developers, architects, individuals and home owners. We regularly work alongside an array of built environment experts, which are tailored to the constraints of each individual site and any client preferences.
Skills Qualifications
- Qualified to degree level in Town Planning and will be a full member of the RTPI
- Experience within a private consultancy environment within the UK, advising clients on planning strategies, promoting strategic sites including preparing policy representations, preparing planning applications, negotiating s106 agreements and securing consents
- Confident in your technical planning knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to prepare clear, concise output
- Experience in managing complex planning applications (from small to large sized projects) and managing multi-disciplinary project teams working to tight deadlines
- The ambition and ability to secure new instructions and clients, and support the growth of our planning team
- Ideally you will have planning appeal experience
- A confident, positive and proactive approach
- Have a full UK drivers’ licence
