Public Exhibition for Proposed Development at East Hanney

Impact Planning Services organised and attended a public exhibition on Friday 9th August in association with Hills Homes, for members of the public to meet the consultant team to comment and discuss the proposed development at East Hanney.

The proposal for 26 dwellings will form a mix of terrace, semi-detached and detached dwellings. The scheme will deliver 10 affordable dwellings, access onto the A338/Station Road and public open space.

The former Breakers Yard site extends to 0.95ha (2.34acres) and was previously operated as a haulage and distribution site. The development is considered to be an infill and will reuse and improve an existing brownfield site which is currently poorly maintained and visually unattractive.

The proposal is considered to be a suitable location for development and is well related and adjacent to the current settlement boundary and existing permitted development. The site has good connections to existing infrastructure and services within the urban grain of the village, making it a sustainable and appropriate location for residential development.

Any members of the public who wish to comment on the proposed development should email IPS at contact@impactps.co.uk
